🛠️ Senior Backend Engineer

Location: Remote / Hybrid
Type: Full-time

What You’ll Do:

• Build and scale core backend infrastructure and APIs.
• Work with ML engineers (or integrate AI APIs) to power recommendation engines and predictive models.
• Design and optimize databases to handle user profile data, job/company metadata, and signals.
• Lead architecture decisions for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product and design to ship features fast.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years experience with backend technologies (e.g. Python, Node.js, Go, etc.).
• Strong experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Experience building APIs, working with AI/ML systems or personalization engines a big plus.
• Ability to balance speed and quality—comfortable in 0→1 environments.
• Startup or early-stage experience highly valued.
